Business & first class search

Every long flight, flat.

Flatbed searches business and first class and shows only the trips where you get a lie-flat seat on every long flight. No digging through seat maps. No surprise recliner on the overnight leg.

One rule, applied to every trip

Premium cabins aren't all the same. A "first class" ticket can mean a bed on one plane and a wide recliner on the next. Flatbed checks each flight on the trip.

Shown

Lie-flat on every long flight

Seats that turn into a fully flat bed, on every flight over three hours.

Allowed

Short connections under 3 hours

A quick hop like Maui to Honolulu can be a regular first class seat. Few short routes have beds anyway.

Hidden

Long flights in a recliner

If any flight over three hours has a recliner, the whole trip is left out. You can still see why if you want.

How it works

Flatbed finds the trip. You book it directly with the airline, so your miles, status and seat choice stay with your airline account.

  1. Search a route and date

Enter where you're flying from, where you're going and when. Nonstop and one-stop trips are both searched.

  2. See only flat-bed trips

Results show the aircraft, the cabin and the seat type for each flight, with cash prices.

  3. Book with the airline

Take the flight numbers to the airline's site or app and book as usual.

Questions

Do I book through Flatbed?

No. Flatbed shows you which trips have flat beds and what they cost. You book with the airline directly, which keeps your miles, elite status and seat selection in your own account.

How do you know a seat is lie-flat?

Many airlines report the seat type for each flight. When they do, Flatbed uses it. When they don't, Flatbed checks the airline and aircraft against its own list. If it still can't be sure, the trip is labeled "not confirmed" so you can check the seat map before booking.

Can I search with points and miles?

Not yet. Award seat search is being added. For now Flatbed shows cash fares.

Why are short connections allowed?

Most flights under three hours don't offer beds at all, even in first class. Leaving them out would hide a lot of good trips, like island hops that connect to a long-haul flight with a bed.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
